VC @ Campus....WOW

A big occasion for all those who wish to choose the road less travelled, I mean budding entrepreneurs. At campus at some point of time in their 2 year stint every individual would have thought of becoming the Mallyas, Bransons and Zuckerbergs, and for all those dreamers it’s a great opportunity to meet one of the big Venture Capitalist.
It was one of those big moments in campus where each one of us were very excited to meet this powerful lady from muslim background who has battled all through her life to reach at the top.
She started her speech with a very important question one should ask to himself. What at most we are ready to sacrifice in life. The question really set the tone of the speech and made very clear that it deserved the utmost attention. As the speech progressed we got to know that readiness of our sacrifice let us take that much of risk in life. So one thing is for sure if you really want to make it BIG we have to take calculated risks.
Thoughts from these extra ordinary people really make us think twice before we take the set path of a job. We got to know so much from the speech about the excitement and challenges any start up brings in and people who handle the challenges better can make it really BIG. She also stressed upon how it has become lot more easier for a start up in terms raising money, gathering information and getting a mentor.
Really, the speech was very motivating and insightful and left us with so many questions, answers of which we had to find ourselves.
